Louise Lennon

Although Louise’s main practice focuses on landscapes in oil, she also regularly draws on her textile background to create mixed media art using batik and oil techniques. Her experimentation in contemporary landscapes creates dynamic yet peaceful scenes.

“I grew up in a country village, surrounded by hills and lanes, quiet scenes that offered calmness and stability amid the turmoil of the Troubles. This has developed into a real appreciation of the countryside and its ability to bring you down to earth, muddy roads, rain, petrichor, winding lanes and derelict houses.”
