Carol has been a member of NAAC since March 2016. Her work is expressionist, drawing from mythology, authors such as Dante, Chaucer, and Poe, and the poets of the romantic period.
Combining intense colour and texture, each piece tells a story that can be emotional, mystical, or frightening. The use of swirling, and large brushstrokes highlight the anxiety and internal battles of a piece’s protagonist. Bright, vivid colours are often juxtaposed with the depiction of turmoil, conflict, and death.
